Ryan Reynolds votes in US election… but fans distracted by Blake Lively’s feet

Ryan Reynolds voted in the US presidential election for the first time – but fans were more interested in what his wife Blake Lively had on her feet.

Deadpool star Reynolds, who was born in Canada, and Lively posted on Instagram that they had already been to the polls ahead of November 3 and invited their fans to follow suit.

But it would seem Lively forgot to wear shoes for the picture – and instead photoshopped herself wearing a pair of strappy sandals.

In the post, the 33-year-old Gossip Girl actor said her husband found voting “super scary at first” as they posed for a picture after dropping odd their mail-in ballots.

“It was Ryan’s first time. He was understandably scared,” she wrote. “It all happened so fast. Like, REALLY fast. He wept. I pretended to weep. Then he called all his friend.”

Meanwhile, Reynolds, 44, wrote: “This is my first time voting in America. I’d like to thank my wife Blake for making my first time so gentle and loving. It was super scary at first, then exciting and now I’m a little tired. But proud. #VoteEarly.”

Lively wore a pair of pink slacks, a polo-neck and coat for her outing.

But eagle-eyed fans quickly spotted she had drawn on her shoes.

After being called out online, Lively wrote: “Can you tell I was so happy to get outta a onesie and vote. Sure it was an absentee drop off ballot with a mask covering my look.”

“But dammit I exercised my right to vote. And to not wear shoes that ruined my outfit.”

In another snap shared to Instagram, Reynolds drew on a pair of brown boots and jokingly tagged Louis Vuitton.

Reynolds, who reportedly became an American citizen in 2018, shares three daughters with Lively: Inez, four; James, two; Betty, one.
