Ryan Garcia makes shock prediction for Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Logan Paul

Ryan Garcia is expecting Logan Paul to secure a dramatic knockout victory over Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Former five-weight world champion Mayweather takes on the YouTuber and internet personality Paul in a special exhibition bout consisting of eight three-minute rounds in Miami tonight.

Mayweather called time on his illustrious boxing career in 2015 but returned to extend his undefeated record to 50-0 against UFC star Conor McGregor in 2016.

He was tempted back again for a lucrative exhibition bout with kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018 with neither man able to truly trouble the ring legend.

Similar dominance is expecting tonight despite Paul weighing in over 34lbs heavier than his opponent, also boasting a six-inch height advantage.

And while most of the professional boxing world has backed Mayweather to control the exhibition, lightweight sensation Garcia is predicting a very different outcome.

The 22-year-old, a friend of Paul’s younger brother Jake, boasts his own huge following on social media with over 12 million followers across Instagram and Tik Tok and is predicting a big victory for the YouTube star.

‘I’ve got Logan. I’ve gotta go Logan.” Garcia told Fight Hype when asked for a prediction. ‘The man looked ripped.’

He added: ‘I’ve got Logan Paul by knockout… Eighth round.’

Mike Tyson meanwhile is among the former and current stars of the sport predicting easy work for ‘Money’ however.

‘Floyd is going to kill this guy, man,” he told Reuters.

‘Floyd stays in the gym, he’s never out of shape. He’s going to have so much fun winning this money.’
