Ruth Langsford scolds This Morning director as she brands comment 'uncalled for'

Ruth Langsford wasn’t happy with the director of This Morning on Friday, as she branded one of their comments “uncalled for”.

Ruth was sitting alongside her husband Eamonn Holmes on Friday morning to present the show, discussing topics including the new isolation measures for food workers and the importance of Vitamin D.

And as the show returned after a break, one camera-man decided to experiment with his angles a little to add a bit of artistic flair to the show.

Graham, on camera one, took a shot of the presenters through an array of pink flowers in true summer style.

And Ruth couldn’t help but compliment his eye for aesthetics, as she commented: “Ooh that was a lovely shot through the flowers! Thank you Graham on camera one – very artistic!”

As the shot returned to demonstrate to viewers what she meant, Ruth appeared to get a message through her ear-piece.

“Graham, the director’s telling me it was out of focus now. Sorry! I personally thought it was lovely, Graham,” she said.

“I thought it was lovely, soft, artistic. I thought that was uncalled for, actually, from the director.”

Eamonn cheekily chipped in: “If I was at a funeral that would be beautiful, it really would be very nice.”

“Stop it!” Ruth quickly scolded her husband.

“Graham, it was I thought it was very nice, thank you very much,” she reassured the camera operator.

Ruth had viewers swooning earlier this week as she debuted her glamorous hair transformation.

She’d added plenty of bounce and volume to her brunette locks, pairing the chic bob with a magenta blazer and a pair of white Capri trousers.

With a cute white vest under the blazer, Ruth added a hint of gold to her look with a pair of hoop earrings, along with a silver pendant around her neck.

At the time, one viewer tweeted: “Ruth your hair looks really lovely… loving the style.”

Someone else wrote: “Omg Ruth’s hair today! What a voluminous queen.”

While a third said: “Ruth’s hair is gorgeous today.”
