Ruth Langsford enjoyed a leisurely stroll in the sunshine after she admitted she was feeling ‘anxious’ about the coronavirus outbreak.

The This Morning presenter was all smiles as she took a walk with her dog and she shared a brief video to her Instagram to update her followers.

‘Morning, we are out for our walk another beautiful day. It is very cold, very cold today,’ she began.

‘I hope you’re doing ok, staying safe, staying in apart from your exercise. Speak soon.’

It also follows after Ruth’s husband Eamonn Holmes explained to This Morning viewers on Friday that he has had to watch his wife become ‘anxious’ during this uncertain time.

‘To visibly watch you becoming anxious,’ Eamonn began.

‘And you are too addicted, she wakes up first thing in the morning and puts on that Piers Morgan and he scares the life out of her what he’s saying right from 6am.’

‘Particularly at the moment,’ Ruth added.

Eamonn started to add: ‘And I watch you, I watch your face and how you become…’

Ruth then interrupted as she said: ‘You know what it is when you’re at home if you’re not watching the news and things it almost feels we are on a nice break from work at the moment, particularly as the weather has been so lovely.

‘I can tidy up my kitchen cutlery draw and do a bit of cooking.’

‘And then you remember why you’re at home and why you’re not at work and then I think oh I’ll have a look at the news,’ she continued.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
