Ruth Langsford, 60, shared that she had been missing in action from QVC on Thursday after she took the day off to celebrate her husband Eamonn Holmes’s birthday. The long-time couple spent some quality time together after they were dropped from their This Morning slot earlier this month.
In a video uploaded to her Twitter account, the star looked stylish in a blue knit cardigan and beige blouse as she posed in a lift at the QVC studios.
Ensuring she abided by government rules, Ruth paired her outfit with a medical looking face mask.
She said: “Hi there, I’m at QVC today, wasn’t here on Thursday because we were busy celebrating Eamonn’s birthday.
“So I’m here today instead, I’m on with Jackie [Kabler] 6 till 7.”
Another replied: “Gorgeous Lady.”
Ruth hosts her Ruth Langsford Fashion programme weekly at 7pm on a Thursday, where she shares her latest designs with viewers.
However this week, the star spent time with her husband on his special day as she paid tribute to him over on Instagram.
Ruth typed: “Happy Birthday to my wonderful, handsome, kind, generous, clever, big hearted and incredibly funny husband @eamonnholmes. Love you.”
Eamonn commented: “Well that’s a very nice thing to say …. albeit true. Here’s to a Birthday vaccine for all.”
Celebrity pals also sent their birthday wishes, including Amanda Holden, Ola Jordan, and Melanie Sykes.
Ruth took to her Instagram page again later in the day, this time sharing a snap of Eamonn grinning outside a front door with a huge Christmas wreath on it.
He was dressed smartly in a black suit jacket and white shirt, with Ruth writing: “Birthday celebration with a Christmas feel for @eamonnholmes Happy Birthday handsome!”
