RuPaul's Drag Race UK gets painful as Baga Chipz 'burns penis with hot glue'

This week saw the third episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK premiere online on BBC Three, with the eight remaining queens battling it out in another challenge.

Host RuPaul challenged the superstar drag queens to create a fashionable look using bits and bobs that might be found at a car boot sale.

Baga Chipz, 29, who won last week’s acting challenge, had high hopes of creating a high fashion look using wire wool kitchen scrubbers.

While other queens grabbed curtains, shopping bags or even rubber globes, Baga – real name Leo Loren – went for a far more difficult fabric.

She took to the runway with a futuristic looking outfit, with the wire kitchen sink cleaners sculpted around her cinched in waist and amped up bust.

It turned out that it wasn’t enough to land her a place in the top three – but it also didn’t see her at risk of elimination in the bottom three.

She went backstage with fellow safe competitor Blu Hydrangea, 23, to chit chat while the other queens got their critiques from the judges – RuPaul, Strictly‘s Michelle Visage, comedian Graham Norton and iconic model Twiggy.

Speaking to Blu – real name Joshua Cargill – Baga said: “Never mind Baga, I look like a sack of spuds.”

The London-based performer said to camera: “I’m not going to lie, I was rushing.

“I was hot gluing stuff to my penis. I literally burnt my b*** e** with hot glue.”

Later, back on the main stage, Ru crowned Divina de Campo, 35, as the winner of the challenge after she presented a Bowie-esque ensemble, complete with oversized collar.

Crystal, 34, and The Vivienne, 26, joined her in the top three and were therefore safe.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the spectrum, Cheryl Hole, 25, Sum Ting Wong, 30, and Vinegar Strokes, 34, were in the bottom three.

Cheryl was announced as safe, meaning Sum Ting and Vinegar were forced to lip-sync for their lives.

After an energetic performance to Eurythmics song Would I Lie To You?, Vinegar was sent home after her second lip-sync.

There are now just seven queens left competing, with next week’s episode featuring the highly anticipated Snatch Game.

In the Snatch Game, each queen must impersonate a celebrity – and it looks like there’s competition for who will portray Margaret Thatcher.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is available on BBC iPlayer, with new episodes each Thursday at 8pm
