Roy Hodgson has called for more from Wilf Zaha after Crystal Palace became the first Premier League club since records began to have a penalty as their only shot on target.
The Ivory Coast winger converted the controversial 19th-minute spot kick for his fourth goal of the season – the same number as he scored in the whole of the last campaign.
Michy Batshuayi had a strike narrowly ruled out for offside but Palace created little else with their 34 percent of possession
And Palace boss Hodgson said: “I always think that with a player of Wilf’s ability, he has got more to offer.
“We have so much faith in his ability and always feel, with a bit of luck, there’s more there to give.

“What I will be preaching to him for the rest of the season is that a player of your ability has got more to give and it is not sufficient to just score a few more goals than last season.
“I want to see him create havoc in the opponents’ defence and he didn’t really do that today.”
But only an 89th-minute deflected equaliser denied Palace taking all three points.
“I am very satisfied what I saw from the team and bitterly disappointed we did not get it through to the end,” said the former England boss.
“We came so close to taking the glittering prize, but we were robbed of it right at the very end.
“But we weren’t robbed of the result because, in the second-half in particular, Brighton asked a lot of questions about our defence. I’m very proud of our defence because they answered those questions until last three or four minutes.
“I think maybe in the second-half towards the end we were slightly guilty of protecting that lead, not looking to go forward and increase the lead, especially after Batshuayi’s disallowed goal.
“Would I have liked to have seen a bit more? Of course I would. We worked very hard to try and create chances.
“If we didn’t succeed as well as we would have liked, it might be because of the pressure the opponents put on us.”
