Roxanne Pallett has been keen to show off her new engagement ring after her shock proposal.
She seems to be shrugging off punch-gate being crowned the most complained about TV moment of the past decade just fine.
The star whipped out her new diamond, appearing to show it off at every opportunity as she and her firefighter beau Jason picked out a Christmas tree.
Packing on the PDA, the star clung onto her fiancé’s arm, with him wrapping his arms around her as she played with the ring.
Roxanne looked completely content as the couple chatted away and held hands while mulling over the decision.
The pair shocked fans by getting engaged in November following a whirlwind relationship, with the Married At First Sight star reportedly getting down on one knee.
‘Jason met Roxanne’s mum for the first time during their recent trip to the UK and she absolutely adored him,’ a source revealed, explaining he received her blessing to propose.
‘Jason has been a rock to Roxanne since they’ve been together. They’ve had very parallel lives and share an intense connection because of their past struggles,’ the insider added to The Sun.
‘He’s fiercely protective over her and has told friends that she’s the one he’s been searching for all this time.’
The lovebirds first met in New York earlier this year, seven months after her relationship with ex-fiancé Lee Walton broke down, and have been inseparable ever since.
However, Roxanne hasn’t been too popular recently, after it was revealed that her shocking punch-gate moment on Celebrity Big Brother was the most complained about moment on TV in the past decade.
The scandalous scenes saw the the Emmerdale actress involved in a playfight with Corrie’s Ryan Thomas, before she ran to the diary room in tears, claiming he had hit her.
She faced intense backlash when it emerged that he never touched her, and apologised before quickly retreating from the limelight.
The shocking moment, which aired back in 2018, topped Ofcom’s round-up list with an overwhelming majority of 25,327 complaints sparked by the allegation Roxanne made against Ryan.
