Roxanne Pallett married her firefighter beau, Jason Carrion, in New York in February, and photos from the wedding capture the emotional moment the couple had their first dance.

The photos from their big day see Roxanne wipe away a tear of joy as she dances with her new husband, who wore his ceremonial firefighter uniform for the big day.

Roxanne stunned in a fishtail lace gown, and kept her hair down in waves with a silver headband contrasting with her dark locks.

The couple tied the knot in February in a small ceremony in front of just 10 close family and friends, and held their reception at Sylvester Stallone’s Adrian’s restaurant in Philadelphia, according to The Sun.

The pair had their first dance to A Thousand Years by Christina Perry, and Roxanne had apparently sewn a pearl from Jason’s late mother’s sewing box into her gown as a tribute.

She also carried a single white rose as a tribute to her best friend Pam who died in 2009.

Roxanne and Jason got engaged in November after just months of dating, after the pair met in New York, where Roxanne had fled to after ‘punch-gate’ on Celebrity Big Brother in 2018.

Roxanne fled to the US after she lied about Coronation Street actor Ryan punching her, during a stint on the show.

They were involved in a playfight when the Emmerdale actress ran to the diary room in tears, claiming he had hit her.

She faced intense backlash when it emerged that he never touched her, and apologised before quickly retreating from the limelight.

She has largely stayed out of the limelight ever since, and admitted she was ‘grateful’ for the drama because it led her to her ‘best life’.

She told Closer: ‘I’ve met the love of my life and I feel mentally stronger. I truly believe all the negativity I went through pushed me to this point.

‘In a way, I’m grateful for all that went wrong, even though it was brutal. It was worth all the heartache because now I’m living my best life.’

She added: ‘Three years ago, I was making terrible decisions – but who hasn’t screwed up? I’m proof that you can make a mistake, break, fall from grace, then get yourself back up.

‘It all fell through for me and I never thought I’d smile again or leave my house without my hood up. It’s taken a long time, and a lot of strength, but I’ve rebooted my life and I think so much more clearly.’
