Rooney Mara was spotted doing some shopping in Los Angeles on Friday, rocking a new ring that is sparking engagement rumors with longtime beau Joaquin Phoenix.
The 34 year old actress was spotted coming out of Erewhon Market in Los Angeles, with a huge diamond ring on the ring finger of her left hand.
Neither Mara nor Phoenix, 44, have publicly announced their engagement, but it’s possible that some sort of announcement may be imminent.

Mara and Phoenix first met while filming the 2013 film Her, where she played Catherine, the childhood sweetheart of Phoenix’s character, Theodore Twombly.
At the time, Mara had been in a long-term relationship with director Charlie McDowell, but they split up in 2016.
Mara and Phoenix were first linked together in late 2016, when they were filming Mary Magdalene, and they have been together ever since.

The new couple were spotted leaving a detox spa just after reports of their romance first broke and it wasn’t long until they were on the red carpet together.
The couple made their red carpet debut at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, where Phoenix won the Best Actor award for his performance in You Were Never Really Here.
Mara then revealed in a September 2017 interview with T Magazine that she has been living with Phoenix in the Hollywood Hills.

Since neither Mara nor Phoenix are on social media, neither have commented publicly about the engagement rumors.
Both Mara and Phoenix’s representatives refused to comment on the rumors, though, according to People.
While Mara was spotted out getting groceries on Friday, Phoenix was spotted lighting up a cigarette after a gym session.

Mara is getting ready to shoot A House in the Sky, a biopic about a young journalist who was captured and held in captivity for more than a year in Somalia.
Phoenix has the highly-anticipated superhero movie The Joker, which is slated to hit theaters on October 4.
He is also set to star in Far Bright Star, which will reunite him with his I’m Not Here director Casey Affleck.
