Ronda Rousey squares up to Gordon Ramsay and jokes ‘he should cook for a living’ as they arm wrestle in his YouTube series

Ronda Rousey joins Gordon Ramsey for the latest episode of his Scrambler YouTube series

Gordon Ramsay has been entertaining fans with his Scrambled series on YouTube, where he’s joined by celebrity guests in the kitchen.

But it looks like his latest sous chef gave Gordon a lot more than he bargained for, as former UFC fighter turned WWE star Ronda Rousey squared up to Gordon while teasing his celebrity chef status all but three seconds into the episode.

In his latest video, Gordon is seen whipping up some breakfast burritos with Ronda and she’s clearly a fan of the finished result, as she’s seen tucking in.

Joking that Gordon ‘should cook for a living’ mid mouthful, Ronda then finds herself challenged to an arm wrestle by a less than impressed Gordon.

‘Do you want a f**king arm wrestle?’ Gordon joked, with Ronda instantly then sizing up her latest opponent and squaring up to his face.

It’s no surprise, then, that Gordon had begun by saying he was ‘sh*tting himself’ to be cooking for Ronda.

Looks like someone’s finally met their match, eh.

First up, the pair try their hand at making beef and eggs, with Ronda accidentally setting off the fire alarms while juggling cooking with talking to Gordon about how she now has her own farm.

Ronda isn’t the only WWE star to join Gordon in the kitchen, as twins Nikki and Brie Bella stopped by to tackle his scrambled eggs challenge.

Gordon’s latest video comes as he is in lockdown at his second home in Cornwall, with wife Tana and their five children.

The Hell’s Kitchen star had faced backlash over spending lockdown at his family home, after locals reportedly criticised Gordon in messages posted to a Facebook group.

They accused Gordon of ignoring the risks moving to his second home could potentially bring with it during the coronavirus pandemic, but a family friend insisted their comments had been ‘hurtful and uneccessary’.

Explaining that Gordon sees his property in Cornwall as his ‘family home’, the friend told Metro.co.uk: ‘The family see Cornwall as their family home when the kids are back from uni and Gordon back from filming around the world.

‘It’s where they spend all their family time together, they’ve been spending time there for 10 years and Jack actually lives in the house there full time too.

‘They’ve been following the government advice, along with the rest of the country, since they arrived on 20 March and the campaign against them is hurtful and unnecessary at a time when we should all be coming together and supporting each other.’
