Ron Ely's killer son 'tried to blame him for his wife's murder' in 'unintelligible' 911 call


Ron Ely’s son tried to blame him for killing his own wife when he rang the police after the murder, it’s claimed.

Valerie Lundeen Ely, 62, was killed in the brutal stabbing which unfolded at her home in Hope Ranch, California on Tuesday night.

TMZ has obtained a recording of a conversation between two operators who discussed Cameron Ely’s 911 phone call.

In a call said to be made shortly after Valerine’s death, Cameron allegedly told police that his dad had tried to attack his mum and he had defended her.

One says: “They said the father tried to attack the mother. Someone defended someone and then they hung up.

“The male was out of breath, unintelligible and crying. We’re trying to get further.”

Valerie was found dead with multiple stab wounds which she sustained in the attack.

The police subsequently shot callous killer Cameron, 30, dead at the scene.

Authorities said Cameron posed a threat when they found him on the grounds of the home.

Tarzan actor Ely, 81, has been reported as safe by the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s department

Ron and Valerie were married for 35 years since they tied the knot in 1984.
