Romelu Lukaku 'leaks' Man Utd data as he pushes for transfer exit

Romelu Lukaku has ‘leaked’ data showing the speeds of all Manchester United’s first-team stars on social media as he continues to push for a summer exit.

The Belgian striker is keen to leave Old Trafford and is believed to have agreed terms with Juventus over a swap deal sending Paulo Dybala to the Premier League.

He is not seen as a key part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans ahead of the new season and will not feature in their pre-season friendly at AC Milan on Saturday.

Lukaku has been criticised for his speed in the past but shared data from a pre-season training session at United on July 10 on his Twitter account mocking those who question his lack of pace before it was later deleted.

The data showed Lukaku as the second fastest player in that particular session, registering a top speed of 36.25 km/h, with only Diogo Dalot clocking up a quicker speed at 36.43.

It shows the results of the entire United squad involved, including Marcus Rashford in fourth at 35.71, new signing Daniel James in fifth after registering 35.53 with Luke Shaw the slowest at 31.03.

It comes after a turbulent summer for Lukaku, who was unable to secure a move to Inter Milan as United demanded his £75m valuation be met.

He was forced to travel to Australia for their pre-season tour but barely featured due to injury and is now keen to depart for Juventus amid their late interest.

However, a move could hinge on whether Dybala can be convinced to head in the opposite directions with reservations regarding the lack of Champions League football at Old Trafford.

If he opts against the move, Lukaku could be left hoping a fee to take him to Turin in a stand-alone deal can be agreed.
