What has Roman Kemp said about I’m A Celebrity?

Speaking about his upcoming experience, Roman told the Mirror: “I love this programme so much. I love it when it kicks off with the first show and you see Ant and Dec arrive.

“I will be happy to get rid of social media but the thing I will miss most is speaking to my parents and my girlfriend.”

The radio star added: “My Dad loves it. He is ready to find the worst freeze frame possible of my face and put it out on social media! Mum will say she hates it up until the day I get in there.

“Once she sees the show, understands it and grasps I am in there, I think she will be alright. She is really nervous though!”

Roman continued: “Some of the fears I have got are odd.I have got a strange fear of cotton wool. Why am I scared? It’s the texture and sound of it. I can’t even talk about it without getting scared and I definitely can’t touch it!

“I don’t know when this fear first started but the only way I can describe it is like a nail going down a chalkboard – it has that effect on me. I hate it so much that if I am in a coffin with cotton wool, then that is going to be the worst thing ever for me! I am fine though with things like insects and spiders!”

What did Roman say about BTS?

Roman has apologised to BTS fans after they felt he insulted the K-pop band’s song featuring Nicki Minaj.

After playing Idol on his radio show in September he was heard saying: “That was BTS and Nicki Minaj, that noise you were just hearing there.”

Roman has since taken to Twitter to apologise to anyone he may have offended with his comments.

He trawled his own Twitter account to see if he had ever “posted anything that could cause harm or offence to someone”.

And Roman admitted he did find things that he’s “not at all proud of”.

He added: “Being totally honest, I’m shocked and appalled and ashamed to say I did find things.”

“I did find things I’m not at all proud of. I don’t associate myself with that. I know the person who wrote those things is not the man I am now, but they were there.”

Roman didn’t reveal what the posts contained and has now deleted them.

“I made the conscious decision to get those things, I have deleted those things, I don’t want that negativity in the world,” he said.

“I don’t want the legacy I have on the internet to be a place where there is negativity, or something that can cause offence.

“For anyone that has ever been offended by something I have said online, I am truly, deeply and utterly sorry.

“Going forward, I want to be that good social media user that spreads happiness about humans, not negativity.

“I hope that you watching this want to do the same. Together, let’s make the internet a bit of a better place.”

Does Roman Kemp have a tattoo?

The host was tattooed by none other than Ed Sheeran while he presented live from the Capital studio in February, with disastrous results.

The Shape of You singer scrawled “Ed Woz Ere” onto Roman’s leg, and if that wasn’t bad enough he made a mistake, adding “2k7” instead of “2k17”.

In another moment of inspired radio savagery, Roman pranked his Capital stablemate Marvin Humes by swearing “live” on air.

The stitch up saw Roman pretend they were on air and drop an F-bomb before having a full-blown meltdown.

The former JLS man could only watch on stunned as the action played out but saw the funny side when it was time for the big reveal.
