Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster shares important coronavirus news 'Turning point'

Sir Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster shared a message on Instagram which highlighted the effect the coronavirus pandemic is having on young people. The post stated that over half of those questioned felt “fearful” for their future.

Mum-of-two Penny, who shares sons Alistair, 14, and Aiden, nine, with her husband of 13 years, helped shine a light on the impact of COVID-19 on teenagers and young adults, who are trying to make sense of the world.

Many were caught up in the recent exam confusion and are now heading off to socially-distanced colleges or universities or looking for work in a very uncertain job market.

According to her post, the on-going pandemic has left many feeling “hopeless”.

The Prince’s Trust, of which the Loose Women star is an ambassador, revealed the details of their Aspiration Gap 2020 research online on Prince’s Trust Day.
