Rockstar's Bully 2 teaser is bad news for fans waiting for the GTA 6 release date

GTA 6 could be on hold, as Rockstar seemingly teases plans to release another blockbuster sequel beforehand.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is one of the most anticipated games of all time… the only problem is that it hasn’t actually been announced yet.

And it looks like we could be waiting even longer for the GTA 6 release date to roll around, because Rockstar appears to have something else in the works.

Judging by a painting found within the GTA Online Casino, Rockstar could be planning a sequel to Bully/Canis Canem Edit.

The painting – which you can see below – was discovered within the newly launched casino.

As you can see from the two images, the painting features the same four symbols that can be found on the Bullworth Academy crest. This includes a fist, a snake, a rat and a skull.

Furthermore, some fans on Reddit believe that the painting also contains morse code.

According to the post, the message spells 4NAD, which doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Originally released all the way back in 2006, Canis Canem Edit has been ported to the Wii, Xbox 360, PC, iOS, Android and PS4.

“Canis Canem Edit takes the Rockstar tradition of groundbreaking and original gameplay and humorous tongue-in-cheek storytelling to an entirely new setting the schoolyard,” reads the official description.

“As a mischievous schoolboy, you’ll stand up to the bullies, get picked on by teachers, play pranks, win or lose the girl, and ultimately learn to navigate the obstacles of the worst school around, Bullworth Academy.

“Experience Canis Canem Edit for PS2 with full 1080p up-rendering and enhanced features such as Trophies, Share Play, Remote Play, Activity Feeds and Second Screen support for game manuals with PS Vita or PS App.”

As for GTA 6, a recent leak claimed that GTA 6 will be set in the 70s/80s and will feature just one playable protagonist.

The next Grand Theft Auto game will allegedly take place in Vice City and Rio de Janeiro.

It was also claimed that the Grand Theft Auto sequel would launch on PS5 and Xbox Scarlett.

This ties in to a previous leak that suggested GTA 6 would have a 2020 release date.
