Vanessa Amorosi was 16 when she got her first tattoo.
And on Sunday night, the Shine singer showed off a large selection of her inkings while performing at Nine’s Hay Mate: Bush Christmas Appeal for Aussie Farmers.
The Australian songwriter, 38, was certainly quite the rock chick as she took to the Melbourne stage to perform her 2000 hit Absolutely Everybody.

Vanessa wowed the crowds with an energetic performance in a sequin top, short black skirt and knee-high boots.
As she jumped around the stage during the lively set, Vanessa revealed a glimpse of her tattooed midriff.
Her bare legs, covered in ink, were also on display in the all-black ensemble.
Vanessa has certainly come a long way since she released her debut single Have A Look in 1999.

In a video, filmed in April, she said her favourite tattoo was a barramundi fish on her right side.
‘You can never have too many tattoos, clearly,’ she laughed, as she showed off her selection at the time.
She said she began getting inked 22 years ago when she was 16, beginning with a tattoo on the top of her back.
