Robin Thicke’s fiancé claps back after she’s shamed for letting her 16-month-old eat ‘toxic’ spicy crisps

SINGER Robin Thicke’s fiancé has hit out at trolls who shamed her parenting after she fed her daughter spicy crisps.

April Love Geary shared a clip on Instagram of their 16-month-old daughter, Mia Love Thicke, eating some Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.

The youngster doesn’t appear phased by their spiciness, and Robin, 42, can be heard chuckling in the background.

But after sharing the video to Instagram with her 164,000 followers, 24-year-old April was attacked online.

People claimed she was a bad mother for feeding her daughter the “toxic” snack.

April, who became engaged to the singer last December, has hit back at trolls who have claimed she’s an unfit parent.

Responding to a comment which said: “Those Cheetos are beyond toxic, she’s just a child!

“Go read a parenting book.”

April, who also shares four-month-old daughter, Lola Alain Thicke, with Robin, replied: “You’re beyond toxic for my children.”

And as people continued to lay into her, she said: “We’re here for a good time not a long time.”

But the mum-of-two still received a backlash from others, with someone else commenting: “Hope you can take some time to read a parenting book because what you might think is funny might be seriously toxic to your child, and it’s not a laughing matter. Please grow up.”

Another person said: “True, just wait until that child has gastrointestinal problems.”

A third wrote:  “What kind of mother shrugs off poor parenting with ‘we’re here for a good time, not a long time’?

“You are the last person on earth who should be raising children.”

The trolls continued to attack her, with people referencing an abortion she previously had.

But April silenced her haters on that subject as well, writing: “Oh boohoo I aborted a fetus years ago that literally did not affect your life in any way.”

Some people did jump to April’s defence, with someone else saying: “I watched my sister lick slugs when she was a toddler.

“Pretty sure Cheetos are fine.”

Frito-Lay, the parent company of the crisp brand, said: “Flamin’ Hot Cheetos meet all applicable food safety regulations, as well as our rigorous quality standards.

“That said, we realize some consumers may be more sensitive to spicy foods than others and may choose to moderate consumption or avoid spicier snacks due to personal preference.”

Meanwhile mums-to-be are sharing the hilariously trivial things they cried about while pregnant.

And this mum issued a warning other parents after her toddler suffered an allergic reaction to Daddies ketchup.

This mum, 50, was left heartbroken after she tracked down her biological dad, but he rejected her.
