Robert Pattinson may be the most handsome man in the world according to science, but apparently he smells a bit… different.
The Twilight actor insisted people keep telling him he’s got the ‘waxy’ scent of a ‘crayon’.
Sorry – what?
We always thought he’d have top notes of cedarwood and myrrh, tbh.
R-Patz made the baffling admission when Allure magazine asked him to describes his very particular pong.
‘Lots of people tell me I smell like a crayon,’ the new Batman actor dished.
He was then asked, ‘Like you’re made of wax?’
‘Yes!’ he replied. ‘Like I’m embalmed.’
Right, then. Ngl, we’d still date him.
Rob also talked about what it was like beating Brad Pitt and David Beckham to be declared the most beautiful man ever.
The Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi – a rating scale of physical beauty the ancient Greeks developed using maths – gave the actor a 92.15% attractiveness rating.
Which is not too shabby at all.
‘It’s weird. I never was really up for the good-looking-guy roles, because I’ve always been quite awkward when meeting people,’ he admitted.
‘My Harry Potter role was a good-looking guy, and it was a shock that it was quite easy to get. And then in Twilight, [Edward is] beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.’
He recalled how before the audition, he’d dyed his hair black but had roots (we’ve all been there) and had also waxed his body.
On top of that, The Lighthouse actor went through a phase of drinking beer all day so he had a ‘hairless chubby body’ and overall, resembled a ‘baby with a wig on’.
Brilliant – there’s an image that will never leave us.
