Robert De Niro yells f bombs on live TV in astonishing attack against Donald Trump and US president’s supporters

This is the moment movie legend Robert De Niro yells f bombs on live TV as he launches an astonishing attack against US president Donald Trump and his supporters.

De Niro, in a morning interview on CNN, had said “this guy should not be president, period”.

When subsequently told “folks on Fox” would come after him, he shouted: “F*** ‘em! F*** ‘em!”

Outstretching his arms, De Niro then apologised to shocked crew members.

But unperturbed, the star carried on his rant. “We are in a moment in our lives in this country,” he said, “where this guy is like a gangster.

“He’s come along and he’s said things, done things, [and] we say over and over again: ‘This is terrible.’

“We are in a terrible situation. We are in a terrible situation.

“And this guy keeps going on and on and on without being stopped.”

De Niro had earlier suggested the president is “medically crazy”.

“This guy is crazy,” he said, “we’ve got to get him out.

“Possibly medically, too, I’m starting to think. I didn’t think that before but now I actually… erm… when I saw him out er… in front of the helicopter waiting to go somewhere and talking endlessly and sweating and sweating and not even… this guy is not even aware of what he’s… he should at least ask somebody for a handkerchief or something and dry himself off.

“There’s just something very strange.”
