Robbie Williams just scored his 13th number one UK album, rivalling Elvis Presley’s chart record.

The new album, entitled The Christmas Present, climbed to the top of the charts yesterday after being in the number two spot behind Coldplay last week.

It’s not quite as high as The Beatles though, with a total number of 15 UK number one albums.

The 13 albums are: Life Thru A Lens, I’ve Been Expecting You, Sing When You’re Winning, Swing When You’re Winning, Escapology, Greatest Hits, Intensive Care, Rudebox, In And Out Of Consciousness, Take The Crown, Swings Both Ways, The Heavy Entertainment Show and now The Christmas Present.

Only two of his studio albums, Reality Killed The Video Star and Live At Knebworth, missed out on the number one spot – coming in at number two.

Robbie also sang on four number one albums as part of Take That.

It’s still anyone’s game when it comes to getting the Christmas number one spot though.

The top contenders are George Michael, Lewis Capaldi and Robbie.

Fingers crossed for you, Robbie.

Although Peppa Pig could surprise everyone and come out on top with new song, Bing Bong Christmas.

It’s particularly special as proceeds will go towards Save The Children, a global charity which works towards child poverty, protection and education.

Harley, or rather Peppa, offered some fighting words exclusively to Metro.co.uk: ‘I see other people who are in for it like Robbie Williams – I love Robbie Williams but I mean, it’s going to be a bit awkward when I steal Christmas number one from him.

‘And all the John Lewis adverts, I mean it’s absolutely insane.’

‘We worked really, really hard with the entire Peppa album but especially with the Bing Bong Christmas, it was really fun doing [it],’ she said.

Game on.
