Robbie Savage's Premier League predictions as Man Utd tipped to drop points at Everton

Manchester United ramp up their bid for a Champions League place they when take on Everton at Goodison Park in the weekend’s standout Premier League clash.

The Red Devils are hungry for a seat at Europe’s top table and they will be looking to close the three-point gap to Chelsea in fourth.

As for Chelsea, they will be out to avenge their 3-0 home defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League when they face Eddie Howe’s struggling Bournemouth on the South Coast.

The Cherries hover just two points above West Ham in the final relegation place. The Irons host Southampton with David Moyes’ side looking for their first victory in seven league games.

Elsewhere, the first piece of English domestic silverware is decided this weekend when Man City take on Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola’s men will fancy their chances of securing their third consecutive League Cup triumph having thrashed Dean Smith’s side 6-1 when the teams met in the league at Villa Park in January.

City go into the game full of confidence following a 2-1 comeback win at Real Madrid in their last 16 first leg Champions League tie on Tuesday.

Villa on the other hand have suffered three defeats on the spin, their last win was their last gasp 2-1 win over Leicester in the League Cup semi final which sealed their passage to Wembley.
