Robbie Savage's Premier League predictions as Man Utd tipped to drop points at Everton

Manchester United ramp up their bid for a Champions League place they when take on Everton at Goodison Park in the weekend’s standout Premier League clash.

The Red Devils are hungry for a seat at Europe’s top table and they will be looking to close the three-point gap to Chelsea in fourth.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is likely to recall striker Mason Greenwood who missed the midweek 5-0 Europa League win over Club Bruges but scored against the Toffees earlier in the campaign.

As for Chelsea, they will be out to avenge their 3-0 home defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League when they face Eddie Howe’s struggling Bournemouth on the South Coast.

The Cherries hover just two points above West Ham in the final relegation place. The Irons host Southampton with David Moyes’ side looking for their first victory in seven league games.

The Hammers were unlucky to lose 3-2 at Liverpool on Monday and they will be hoping the league leaders do them a favour when they travel to face relegation threatened Watford on Saturday night.

Brighton will eye their game at home to Crystal Palace as a chance to extend their four point lead over the Hornets.

Newcastle still aren’t safe in 14th and have lost back to back league games. Steve Bruce’s side host Burnley at St James’ Park but it won’t be easy, the Clarets have picked up seven points from the last nine available.

Two potential Champions League contenders clash on Sunday when Tottenham welcome Wolves , a win for the Black Country men would see them leapfrog Spurs in the table.

Sergio Aguero hit a hat-trick in a 6-1 win over Sunday’s cup final opponents earlier in the season

City go into the game full of confidence following a 2-1 comeback win at Real Madrid in their last 16 first leg Champions League tie on Tuesday.
