Just call Rihanna ‘peacemaker’ as she clearly has the power of bringing unlikely people together, after reportedly partying with both her rumoured boyfriend A$AP Rocky and her ex Drake.
The Wild Thoughts singer was spotted emerging from Delilah in West Hollywood, California on Sunday evening with A$AP following closely behind her. The pair have not confirmed their relationship publicly but they have been pictured spending time together several times since last year and sources say they’re official.
As it turns out, Drake was also at Delilah and was actually hosting a small party which Rihanna and A$AP attended after being invited by the rap superstar.
An insider told E! News that ‘there is no bad blood’ between the new couple and Drake, who Rihanna has been romantically involved with in the past. The source claims that Drake even ‘approves [of] and likes A$AP’.
‘They are all really good friends,’ the source said.
It was a late one for Rihanna and A$AP as they arrived at the celebrity hotspot at around midnight and stayed for several hours.
The source added: ‘They were going back and forth between the main dining room and private room and were laughing with Drake and having drinks with him…
‘Rihanna looked happy to be out and was in a great mood. She was chatting with many people and friendly with anyone who approached her. She didn’t care to be seen. A$AP was nearby her the entire time, but they weren’t overly affectionate. They left together in the same car.’
They’re evidently a jetset couple as just days before, Rihanna and A$AP were pictured on a night out in New York.
Rihanna and A$AP have known each other since at least 2012 when they worked on the remix of her song Cockiness together, but sources claimed their relationship recently turned romantic.
Speculation that the pair might be an item started in January 2020 when Rihanna split from her long-term boyfriend Hassan Jameel after three years of dating.
A$AP and Rihanna were then spotted together on various occasions throughout the year, with the singer even enlisting the Fashion Killa rapper for promo shots for her Fenty Skin range last August.
Things appeared to get more serious at the end of the year as the rumoured couple were snapped together on Christmas Eve in Barbados, with sources claiming that A$AP spent the holiday with Rihanna and her family in her hometown.
Rihanna and Drake, who have collaborated multiple times over the years, were first linked in 2009 up until 2016 when they decided to be friends for good.
