Rihanna found the perfect way to treat Sza after the singer recently suggested she was racially-profiled while shopping for Fenty Beauty products earlier this month.
Three weeks ago, Sza, 28, revealed her frustration while shopping at a Sephora store in Calabasas, where she was allegedly approached by a security guard who thought she may have been stealing.
Sza tweeted at the time: ‘Lmao Sandy Sephora location 614 Calabasas called security to make sure I wasn’t stealing . We had a long talk. U have a blessed day Sandy.’
She added: ‘Can a b***h cop her fenty in peace er whut [sic].’
It’s believed Sza’s nickname for the guard, “Sandy”, followed the likes of BBQ Patty and Permit Patty, which were given to two white people who were accused of racially-profiling black people in the US.
After catching wind of Sza’s ordeal, Rihanna, 31, sprung to action and gifted Sza with a Fenty Beauty card so that the All of the Stars singer could shop without hassle.
In a handwritten message, RiRi said: ‘Go buy yo Fenty Beauty in peace sis! One love – Rihanna [sic].’
Sza shared the sweet note on Instagram with the reply: ‘Tanks queen @badgirlriri [sic].’
Ironically, Sza reportedly used to work at Sephora before soaring to fame in 2017 with the release of her critically-acclaimed debut album CTRL.
It’s taken RiRi a few weeks to react to the incident but, granted, she’s been a little busy in recent weeks.
The popstar has launched her new luxury fashion line, Fenty, following the global success of her cosmetics and lingerie brands.
She’s now the first black female designer at luxury brand LVMH.
The Work singer is also living on the other side of the pond to California after revealing that she’s officially moved to London, where her boyfriend, Hassan Jameel, resides.
