Riccardo Tisci’s first festive Burberry campaign is all about the notion of togetherness



Footballer Ruben Loftus-Cheek and former first lady of France Carla Bruni are among the stars in the festive Burberry Christmas campaign.

The British luxury brand says its 2019 festive campaign is about celebrating the “notion of togetherness” at Christmas.

The first campaign by new Burberry Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who recently shot a near-naked Hugo Boss campaign with Liam Payne.

It stars a host of international talent from the worlds of fashion, film and sport, with singer Bruni and Chelsea player Loftus-Cheek joined by model Fran Summers and actor Zhou Dongyu among other stars.

Bruni said of shooting the project: “I love the concept of the campaign – this big group of different people coming together.”

Loftus-Cheek added: “I enjoyed shooting this campaign – and taking a few shots with Carla Bruni was a bonus.”
