RHOC's Gina Kirschenheiter avoids jail time after pleading guilty DUI

It was revealed last month that she had filed a restraining order against her estranged husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, after he allegedly ‘choked and hit her during a home altercation.’

And while the drama continues, one less thing Gina Kirschenheiter can worry about is the outcome of her DUI case.

The Blast reported on Tuesday that the Real Housewives Of Orange County star had pleaded guilty and avoided jail time.

Court documents revealed that Gina pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol – stemming from her February arrest.

‘She was sentenced to three years probation, 20 hours of community service, a six-month alcohol offender program and a $140 fine… but no jail time,’ revealed the publication.

At the time, Gina was pulled over just after midnight for a traffic violation in the Racho Santa Margarita area of the OC.

Arrested and jailed overnight, she was released on Friday February 1 at 12:02 pm.

But unfortunately that wasn’t the end of the drama, with the star hit with two misdemeanor charges just two weeks later.

Gina was court driving under the influence with her second charge that her blood alcohol level was over 0.08%.

And while her drink driving charges have been sorted, the same can’t be said for the drama she’s currently experiencing at home.

According to The blast on June 26, the Housewife, who was rumored to be getting back together with her husband Matt, found herself in a violent altercation at home.

Gina filed a domestic violence retraining order against him following his arrest – after she accused him of threatening to ‘kill her, hitting her and choking her,’ while at home.

The alleged altercation reportedly took place at 2 am when Matt began ‘pounding on her door’.

Matt allegedly then ‘threw’ Gina ‘down on the couch and threw some furniture around… (Matt) was screaming in my face and saying he was going to kill me.’

‘He ripped my bra off, then took a pillow and hit me on the side of the head with it hard. I begged him to stop…to calm down…but he kept hitting me,’ she alleged.

She claims eventually ‘he started to hit me on the side of the head with his open hand. When I tried to get up off of the couch, he threw me back down and began choking me. Then he started to hit me all over my body.’

Gina then claims she fled their home, screaming to her neighbors and ringing their door bells for help.

She alleges Matt pursued her and ‘grabbed me and dragged me on the cement back into the house. He threw me back on the couch started hitting me again telling me he was going to kill me. His eyes were black and nothing I could say would bring him back to reality.’

A few days later, Gina filed a domestic violence restraining order against her husband.

Matt was arrested on June 22, booked into a jail in Orange County, and released on zero dollars bail the very next day.

Gina and Matt are parents to Nicholas, seven, Sienna, five, and Luca, four.
