Review: Blood and Truth puts you in the shoes of your favourite action hero and gives plenty of thrills

EVER wanted to be Bruce Willis in a Die Hard film or Tom Cruise in a Mission Impossible plot line with explosions aplenty?

Well, Sony Interactive has come up with the next best thing and created one of the most thrill-laden experiences you will play
on PSVR.

Blood & Truth PSVR

Blood and Truth is a first-person shooter and as virtual as you can imagine. Having been developed in the same vein as London Heist, which appeared as part of VR Worlds on PSVR, it’s full of great characters, with a brilliant storyline that hooks you from the start.

Featuring the acting talents of Colin Salmon (Resident Evil, Mortal Machines) and Amy Bailey (Alice in Wonderland, Vikings), you play Ryan Marks, who is ex-special forces and reeling from the death of his gangster father.

Blood & Truth PSVR

Ryan finds himself facing his biggest challenge yet back on his home turf of London, with his family locked in the crosshairs of a ruthless rival firm.

Set pieces are wonderful and exhilarating and while you have the VR headset on, it’s very easy to forget you are in your own home and not dealing with London’s nastiest criminals first hand.

Blood & Truth PSVR

Gunplay is brilliant and intuitive. A slight problem with tracking to begin with soon sorted itself out.

Blood and Truth shows the advance in video game and VR development. With the price of headsets coming down, it is a
must-have piece of kit for gamers everywhere.
