Renee Zellweger distracts Oscars viewers from major win with 'changing face' riddle


Oscars 2020 star Renee Zellweger was announced as the winner of Best Actress for her role in Judy, but it was Renee’s appearance which stole the show today.

As she spoke to the audience about her win, after not being nominated for 16 years, fans noticed that her face looked very different from when they last saw her.

They took to social media to comment on her appearance, which has hit headlines before, with fans speculating about her changing looks.

One person wrote: “Sorry but I think Reneé Zellweger winning the supporting a few years ago then getting a new face and then getting her new face transformed back to her original face is more iconic than Parasite winning best picture.”

Another added: “I don’t know why I can’t stand Renee Zellweger but… there it is, I just can’t. And she’s slowly evolving into timpani her face is stretched so tightly. Girl, relax.”

Talking to the crowd during her acceptance speech, Renee dedicated her award to the late Judy Garland.

She said: “Miss Garland you are certainly among the heroes who unite and define us and this is certainly for you. I am so grateful.”

Renée, who also won an Oscar for Cold Mountain in 2004, called working on Judy “one of the most special collaborations and meaningful experiences of my life” and said it was an “honour” to have been nominated.

Renee previously opened up about speculation that she’d had cosmetic surgery last year, saying: “I’m glad folks think I look different. I’m living a different life, happy, more fulfilling life and I’m thrilled that perhaps it shows.
