Reese Witherspoon shines in vibrant orange ensemble ahead of Big Little Lies season two

Reese Witherspoon was a vision in vibrant orange as she stepped out in New York City to promote season two of Big Little Lies.

The 43-year-old Oscar winner was greeted by fans as she headed to an appearance on Good Morning America on Wednesday.

Serving as both star and producer on the project, the highly anticipated second season of her hit HBO drama returns to television in June.

The blonde beauty waved happily to fans as she headed into the studio for GMA wearing a vibrant orange dress cinched at the waist with a belt and featuring an asymmetric handkerchief hem. 

Reese topped the look with a khaki trench, sky-high nude strappy pumps and a pair of glamorous sunglasses.

The iconic cast of BLL has been on a whirlwind media tour to promote the sophomore season which is getting some more star power with the addition of Meryl Streep.

Reese joked on GMA that the one thing Meryl isn’t good at is bowling – something she learned after the legend joined the cast for a team outing.

‘I have to be honest, I found the one thing Meryl Streep is not good at,’ Witherspoon said during the segment ‘It’s bowling.’

Adding: ‘But she was darn cute doing it and such a good sport to go out there and do it with the whole crew. 

‘But it was fun! Yeah, we always had fun and found time to do fun things.’

Her BLL castmate Laura Dern said yesterday that Streep was fitting in nicely and even joined their group chat.

‘She’s very talented. But she’s also the funniest person you’ll ever meet and so brilliant,’ Dern said. ‘What a gift for all of us to get to work alongside her. Amazing.’ 

BLL stars Reese and Dern along with Nicole Kidman, Zoë Kravitz and Shailene Woodley. 

Based on the trailer, season two appears to pick up right where season one left off following the dramatic conclusion that revealed who-done-it.

Witherspoon, whose production company makes the show, will return as producer as well as star.

She and Nicole Kidman, who also serves as producer, received a significant salary bump, and will make ‘around $1 million an episode’ for season two.

Co-stars Kravitz, Dern, and Woodley reportedly got raises as well.
