Red Dead Redemption 2 – rootin’ tootin’ bargain (pic: Rockstar Games)

Rockstar’s blockbusting Western is now the cheapest it’s ever been on consoles, in yet another deal that’s better than Black Friday.

Black Friday has proven to be even worse than previously thought, as Amazon discounts Red Dead Redemption 2 to its lowest level ever just days after Black Friday and Cyber Monday ended.

It follows a trend that has included a surprisingly good post-Black Friday Nintendo Switch bundle and Sony’s Christmas sale that managed to start while Black Friday was still in its final hours.

What this means for Black Friday next year, considering it went on for most of November we couldn’t say but what it means right now is you can get Red Dead Redemption 2 for just £25.

Because the game only just came out on PC last month that version hasn’t been discounted, but the links to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are below.

You can also get the SteelBook version for just £27.99, if that’s the sort of thing you go for, again on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Red Dead Redemption 2 came out on consoles last autumn but being so popular it’s never seen any major discounts before, including during Black Friday.

It’s not the only good deal on Amazon at the moment though, with The Outer Worlds currently just £30.99 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Which, again, is cheaper than during Black Friday, when it was being sold by Amazon for £34.99.
