A new update is available for Red Dead Online right now, and Twitch Prime members can get some extra bonuses too.

Rockstar have already updated GTA Online with a new heist mission, so it only makes sense for Red Dead Online to get some new content too.

The update went live today and has added a new role for you to play as – a moonshiner – which comes with its own brand of story missions, abilities, and weapons.

The role will see you team up with an infamous distiller and start up your own moonshining business:

‘Moonshining takes your trader skills to the next level and gives you your first business established outside of camp,’ says Rockstar, ‘Not only will you need to source ingredients and produce the goods, savvy moonshiners will learn the demands of the market and time their shipments to align with the tastes of buyers.’

You’ll get to purchase one of five moonshining shacks to work out of, which in turn can be improved and expanded to not only help your business but also provide some leisure, like a bar and dance floor.

Rockstar also announced its Outlaw Pass No. 2. Any player that purchases the pass can then unlock more rewards as they gain experience, such as clothing items, horse masks, gold bars, and even a friendly dog companion.

Finally, any Twitch Prime members who have linked their Rockstar Social Club to the game can download even more bonuses; specifically a polished copper still upgrade for moonshining and a collector’s bag if they haven’t tried out the collector role yet.

If these sound like things you’re interested in but you’re not a Twitch Prime member yet, Rockstar did confirm that anyone who subscribes to Twitch Prime on or after 13 December, i.e. today will have 72 hours to obtain the items for free.

Red Dead Online is available now of PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
