She’s been working hard at the gym this year, after saying that she wants to put her health first in 2020. 

And on Tuesday, Rebel Wilson showed off her weight loss in activewear as she completed a gruelling sweat session in Los Angeles. 

The 39-year-old could be seen exercising in a clip shared to Instagram this week by her personal trainer, Jono Castano Acero, and repeatedly hits a wall with a weighted ball.

‘The ball didn’t stand a CHANCE!! Work it gurl,’ Jono captioned the video. 

In the clip, taken at the Dogpound gym in LA, Rebel wears black leggings and a blue exercise shirt and a black cap.

The Pitch Perfect star teamed the look with yellow Nike trainers.

The exercise targets the upper body and specifically the abs and waist.  

Jono recently shared Rebel’s daily workout routine.

Speaking to E!, Jono revealed that ‘results come through consistency’, before explaining how he created a personalised program for the comedic actress.

During a typical week, Rebel works on high-intensity interval training, mobility, weights, resistance, technique and tempo, getting only one day a week for resting.

‘Rebel and I are just focusing on enjoying training and getting the body moving,’ Jono explained.

He encouraged everybody to get a personal trainer, so they can be ‘checking up on you all the time.’

He also revealed that it has been an ‘absolute pleasure’ to work with Rebel because of her sense of humour.
