Real Madrid 'consider Gareth Bale January transfer' as he jets into London for agent talks

Gareth Bale flew to London on Monday for a meeting with his agent as Real Madrid mull over allowing the winger leave in January.

Superstar Bale jetted to the UK for a routine chat with Jonathan Barnett which is likely to have included conversation over his future.

The former Tottenham almost joined Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning in the summer before the deal was pulled at the 11th hour, with Manchester United , Bayern Munich and AC Milan all rumoured to be interested in signing him the last 12 months.

The meeting was less than 48 hours before Real’s next La Liga fixture – against Leganes at the Bernabeu.

Bale did complete a session at the Valdebebas training ground in the morning before his flight to London, which was agreed with Real.

But his future is still up in the air – having only played seven times for Los Blancos this season.

The Wales international is expected to leave in the summer, but according to AS, that could be moved forward to January.

Bosses at the Bernabeu were frustrated how Bale returned to the club injured after the most recent international break, and hasn’t been involved in a match since.

They were also annoyed that the move to China was cancelled, with the fall-out with Zinedine Zidane also added reason to get a move sorted as soon as possible.
