Real Madrid and Chelsea have N’Golo Kante transfer agreement

Real Madrid and Chelsea have a transfer agreement regarding N’Golo Kante, according to reports.

The France international was tipped to follow Eden Hazard to the Bernabeu during the summer transfer window but, ultimately, chose to remain at Stamford Bridge for another 12 months.

That was a blow to Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, who had been dreaming of luring the World Cup winner to La Liga.

Yet Spanish outlet Defensa Central claim Real and Chelsea have come to an agreement regarding Kante.

It is claimed Chelsea have agreed to notify the La Liga titans should they ever receive any offers for the player.

Chelsea have reportedly also agreed to let Real Madrid know should they decide to put the 28-year-old up for sale.

The Blues’ reasoning is because of Real’s good behaviour during the summer.

Real did not push or bully Chelsea into letting their star asset go and, now, Zidane’s side have been rewarded.

PSG have also been linked with a move for Kante amid their determination to finally win the Champions League.

But it appears Real are now in pole position to sign the France international should Chelsea decide to let him go.

Kante admitted to being flattered by Real’s interest recently, saying: “It’s rewarding to be wanted by big clubs.

“When coaches want you in their project it’s nice.

“But I’m happy with my choices and feel good at Chelsea. I’m planning for the next season at Chelsea.”

Meanwhile, Kante recently stunned a father of a bride at a wedding by turning up and accepting their invitation.

Blues supporter Frank Khalid: “I invited him and originally he couldn’t attend because of his commitment to the French national team.

“But because of his injury he messaged me saying he was coming.

“My family and myself are very close to N’Golo and he was one of the first people to visit me when I had my triple bypass surgery operation in April 2018.

“He stayed till the end and was so nice to everyone and signed autographs and took selfies with the guests.”
