Real Housewives Vicki Gunvalson denies she’s homophobic after furious rant about Braunwyn and Tamara kissing

REAL Housewives Of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson has slammed suggestions she is homophobic, after she hit out at her co-star Braunwyn Wyndham-Burke for kissing women on camera.

Taking to Instagram, Vicki shared: “I’m gonna hit it right on, head on. I am not homophobic. I’ve got family members that are gay and lesbian and I’ve got obviously Bravo fans, personal friends. I’m not.”

She continued: “I don’t think it’s appropriate for Braunwyn to be making out on TV. I don’t care if it’s with her husband or Tamra or anybody, I just think it’s inappropriate.

“If she wants to go do that, do that off-camera. I don’t really think that we all need to see it.

“The truth is, the girl bugs me, so probably much [of] anything she does would bug me. Sorry if you all took it any differently than what the truth is.”

Vicki’s damage control came after the reunion episode showed her hitting out at newcomer Braunwyn and her behaviour including kissing Tamra Judge, Vicki’s friend.

“Do it off-camera,” she shouted during the group conversation with Andy Cohen moderating.

“Fifteen years, I started this show. We don’t do that. Turn it down, Braunwyn. Turn it down!” she added, to the shock of the other housewives.

Vicki is the founder of Coto Insurance, and has been one of the original stars of Orange County since it began airing.

Braunwyn tried to defend herself by reminding Vicki she had been asked to share her life and she wasn’t going to be “the best version” but the “honest version” of herself.

Vicki then alleged she had lost two clients due to Braunwyn’s on-screen “shenanigans” to which Andy reminded her she had flashed her nipples on-screen, mimed giving a blow job and wet herself while drunk on camera.

Elsewhere during the reunion show viewers also got to see Vicki have a complete meltdown after her continuous confrontations with Kelly Dodd.

At one point, she stormed out and took out her frustrations on the cameras for not being part of the show as a housewife anymore.

She told producers: “Stop the cameras! This is about my job, my career and my show that I started 15 years ago.”

Vicki was then secretly filmed in her dressing room by the RHOC crew, possibly talking about Kelly to her fiance Steve Lodge, when she realised she was being filmed.

She yelled: “Really?! F**k off!, before slamming her door.
