R&D tax experts make five senior appointments

Leading research and development tax relief specialist Jumpstart has announced a raft of new appointments as it gears up for further expansion.

The Edinburgh-based business has made five new appointments following its acquisition by French-based Visiativ Group at the start of the year.

The new recruits include technical analyst Glenn Craib, a specialist in electronics and engineering, and Jennifer Stenhouse who takes on the newly created role of client retention manager.

Anna Graham and Emma Carroll have joined as new business sales executives while Lucy McCafferty has been recruited as a client sales executive.

In March the group launched sister firm ABGI-UK to support larger UK companies with R&D tax credit claims, grant and subsidy management and innovation funding applications.

Jumpstart has meanwhile continued with its focus on supporting UK SMEs with R&D tax relief and Patent Box claims.

Managing director Scott Henderson said: “I’m delighted to welcome our new colleagues into the business and I look forward to working with them.

“This latest investment in quality people will further bolster our service offering to clients and strengthen our sales team as we target continued growth.

“These appointments come at an exciting time in our development as Jumpstart continues to expand its SME client base across the UK.

“Meanwhile our sister company ABGI-UK is beginning to make in-roads, leveraging its international experience and footprint to benefit larger UK companies.”
