Jacy Nittolo has remembered fiancé Ray Liotta, a month after his death.
The Goodfellas actor, who played Henry Hill in the classic mafia film, died in his sleep on May 26, at the age of 67.
Taking to Instagram, his partner posted a string of loved-up throwbacks from their relationship.
‘It’s hard to believe a month has gone by,’ she began. ‘There are no words to properly describe what one goes through with this type of unexpected loss.
‘I miss him every second of every day. Each day my hint of some light is being with our children – Dax, Karsen, Chazz, Jade & Joey.
‘Through such deep pain I find so much love and laughter. Our lives right now are so fragile yet we are each holding each other up.
‘It’s as if we are one big blended family that was predestined beyond our wildest imaginations.’
Fans shared their support for Nittolo in the comments section below, urging her to ‘stay strong’ in her grief.
EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer penned: ‘Sending love your way from us.’
‘So so painful – every day goes by its harder- stay strong J we love u [sic],’ a follower said.
An Instagram user replied: ‘So sorry for the loss of your husband and for us that did not know him, such a great actor…
‘My heart goes out to you and your family..’
‘So sorry for your lost,’ one commented. ‘He was definitely a great actor and a genuine human being.’
As another added: ‘Awwwe just know he’s with you in spirits…sending you a virtual hug, no one will ever understand your pain..
‘May you all continue to be strong.. [sic].’
Liotta was initially set up with Nittolo thanks to his daughter, Karsen, who suggested that they would be a great match.
They announced their engagement in 2020, but did not tie the knot.
The Hollywood icon died in his sleep while in the Dominican Republic, where he was filming his upcoming project, Dangerous Waters.
