Ray Liotta indulges in private workout session outside Gold’s Gym… even though all LA gyms have been ordered shut amid coronavirus pandemic

Los Angeles gyms have been ordered to shut down amid the devastating coronavirus pandemic.

But that didn’t stop Ray Liotta from getting a pump, with the 65-year-old actor spotted indulging in a one-on-one training session out the front of Venice, California‘s world famous Gold’s Gym on Thursday.

The Goodfellas star gritted his teeth as he performed biceps curls with a couple of dumbbells from the gym.

At one point, Ray’s personal trainer gave him some tips to help with his form. 

Gold’s Gym chain was started by Joe Gold in 1965, when he opened his Venice location.

The gym has long been frequented by Arnold Schwarzenegger and was one of the locations for his landmark documentary Pumping Iron.

Rising to fame as a heartthrob, Ray is widely recognized for his role of Henry Hill as the American mobster in Goodfellas.

The Newark native starred in the prestigious movie alongside fellow Hollywood actors Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci.

Goodfellas follows the success and failure of Ray’s character, while also following the lives of his close associates from the late 50s till the early 80s.
