Rapper Fetty Wap has been charged with one count of misdemeanour battery.

The 28-year-old had previously been arrested on 1 September after being accused of attacking a valet at The Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, following an incident outside of the establishment.

Police allegedly now have enough evidence to charge Fetty, whose real name is Willie Maxwell II, with the crime as footage of the incident was caught on a security camera outside of the premises, according to TMZ.

Footage shows a fight escalating among a group of people as security guards attempt to restrain Fetty away from the brawl, before Fetty hits back at one of the security guards twice.

La Mirage security reportedly made a citizen’s arrest until the Las Vegas Police arrived and took the rapper into custody.

A woman also recently filed a police report alleging that Fetty had manhandled her at a party (Picture: Los Angeles Police Department)

It comes after a woman Fetty previously met on a music video shoot in June filed a police report alleging he had manhandled her at a Hollywood Hills residence.

The woman claimed that the Trap Queen hitmaker had invited her and others to a party at an Airbnb Property after the music video shoot was over.

At one point in the evening, the accuser was said to have gone into a room with Fetty and accused him of putting his hands on her, before he appeared to smack a phone out of her hand, according to footage obtained by TMZ.

The incident was believed to have been triggered by an argument over the females that Fetty had invited back for the party.

The woman in question filed a report about the incident with the Los Angeles Police Department, who confirmed to TMZ that they were investigating what happened.
