RANGERS face Danish outfit FC Midtjylland in the second leg of their Europa League qualifying third round tie.

The Gers return to Ibrox carrying an advantage on from the reverse match having earned an entertaining 4-2 victory in Denmark last time out.

This is a battle between two teams which finished second in their respective domestic leagues last season – Rangers lost out to Old Firm rivals Celtic, while Midtjylland finished eleven points behind 1st-placed Copenhagen in the Danish Superliga.

Following the draw last week, the winners of the tie will face either Legia Warsaw or Greek side Atromitos in a playoff for the Europa League group stages.

This Europa League qualifying match will take place on Thursday, August 15.

It will kick off at 7.45pm UK time – that’s 8.45pm in Denmark.

The match will be held at Ibrox.
