Rainbow Six Siege down: Server Status latest as Ubisoft provide update

Ubisoft has confirmed that issues are currently affecting Rainbow Six Siege servers on PC.

During this time, the game may not connect to multiplayer servers, leaving much of R6 unplayable.

The good news is that the current server status issues are only expected to last a short time, and it’s unclear if it extends to R6 players on PS4 and Xbox One.

A message from the Ubisoft support team explains: “We are aware of degradation occurring, and the appropriate teams are on it!”

It’s unclear how long the current server downtime will last, but it appears that it is not a worldwide outage and should, therefore, be fixed relatively quickly.

The latest message from the Rainbow Six Siege support team adds: “Hello everyone! We’re aware of an issue currently affecting connectivity and are working towards resolving this.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and we greatly appreciate your patience. Please be sure to check this thread for future updates. Thank you!”

More news is expected to be shared within the next hour if Rainbow Six Siege server issues continue on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
