Christmas Day on BBC Radio 1 sounds like it’s going to be pretty special, as the station is going to be taken over by a host of stars for one day only.

Radio 1’s Superstars Playlists will be curated by some massive names, including Louis Tomlinson, John Boyega, Yungblud and more.

The station will be taken over from 10am on Christmas Day, with celebs choosing their favourite tracks and Little Mix will be doing a Drag Queen’s Speech with RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Divina De Campo.

Louis Tomlinson will be delighting fans with his favourite tunes, as well as memories of how One Direction were formed on The X Factor and ended up becoming the biggest band in the world and the most successful act to come from the show.

The Kill My Mind star revealed: ‘I’m so excited to be back in the Radio 1 studio to host my very own show this Christmas Day!

‘I’ll be chatting about my highlights of the last decade, and playing my favourite Christmas tracks.’

Yungblud will also be curating his own playlist as well as answering questions from fans during his appearance.

He couldn’t contain his excitement, saying: ‘I have listened to this show on Christmas day for as long as I can remember! I literally argue about albums with my family over my Christmas dinner. I guess this year I’m gonna win!’

Top Gear’s Paddy McGuinness, Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris will relive their Ultimate Driving Test challenge, which involved them racing around a track while hooked up to electric shock machines, but this time it’ll be a game of hot potato that will be delivering the electric shocks.

Radio 1’s film critic Ali Plumb will be joined by the Hollywood All-Stars line-up made up of Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke, Star Wars’ John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Dr Who’s Jodie Whittaker, Rebecca Ferguson, Olivia Colman, Tobias Menzies, Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and more.

BBC Radio 1’s Superstar Playlists will air Christmas Day from 10am.
