Rachel Riley took to social media yesterday to mark three months since her daughter’s birth.
The 34-year-old TV star, who is best known for starring on Channel 4 quiz show Countdown, welcomed her first child into the world in December.
Rachel and her husband, former Strictly pro Pasha Kovalev, 40, are the proud parents of three-month-old Maven Aria.
The new mum posted an adorable picture of her daughter online and opened up about having more children in the future.
She shared two sweet snaps and a short video of her baby in a crib with her 473,000 Instagram followers.
Little Mave could be seen sound asleep in her cot which had a gentle rocking action.
One image showed the tot as a swaddled newborn with her shirtless father protectively looking over her.
Another appeared to be taken more recently.
The popular television personality captioned the post: “The little one is 3 months old today!!!”
She went on to say: “It’s true what they say, it’s hard to remember life before her and the cliché is true – she’s the best thing we’ve ever done.”
Giving more details about her daughter’s cot, the television star added: “Huge thanks to our (genius American) friend @jennifer.michalski.bray.style who lent us her daughter’s @happiest_baby Snoo – the magic cot.”
Explaining her worries ahead of the birth of her baby, Rachel continued: “I’m a massive night owl and sleep was the thing I was most worried about (not getting) with a newborn, but we’ve been so lucky to have this, it’s literally my favourite gadget of all time!”
“We strap her in so she’s swaddled on her back, press the button, and it gently rocks and sshes her to sleep.”
The mum-of-one added: “If she cries, it listens and escalates up the sshing and rocking, and back down again when she’s calm with 4 different levels.
“She sleeps through the night and literally wakes up smiling. (And we get sleep, yay!).”
Although Mave will soon outgrown the cot, Rachel said it will be perfect for future babies.
She said: When I got pregnant I’d never heard of a Snoo as wasn’t available in the UK, but now it is, the company kindly gave us one for when I’m filming away, for when Mave gets evicted for Jen’s new arrival and for any babies that come along after.”
