Rachel Riley, 33, has shared the happy news about the birth of her first baby with husband and former Strictly Come Dancing pro Pasha Kovalev.
Informing fans about the birth on social media, she wrote: “2 weeks after we were expecting her this little one finally made an appearance!
“Miss Maven (one who understands) Aria (lioness) Riley Kovaleva arrived on Sunday morning weighing in at 7lbs 4.”
The Countdown favourite went on to reveal Maven was born in their bathroom as the couple didn’t have time to make it to the hospital.
She added in a separate tweet: “After keeping us waiting she came so quickly we didn’t have a chance to get to the hospital and was born in our bathroom with our amazing doula and wonderful St Mary’s midwives rushing over to be with us in to be nick of time!
“She’s absolutely perfect and Pasha and I are in newborn bliss. Couldn’t be more in love.”
The Countdown presenter shared adorable photos with her 651,000 Twitter followers as her little family posed together in front of their Christmas tree.
The newborn was dressed in a cute rainbow knitted onesie, matching Rachel’s sweater, which featured a similar colour scheme in an embroidered stripe.
The new mum was pictured cuddling up to her husband, who smiled for the camera in their living room.
In a separate snap, Pasha could be seen gazing lovingly at his daughter, who he cradled in his arms.
Rachel went on to post another photo of the Ballroom and Latin dancer holding Maven close to his bare chest.
