A Django Unchained and Zorro crossover could be hitting cinemas very soon, and this is all very exciting.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

Director Quentin Tarantino is working on a script that would see the duo meet up on the big screen and we will be counting down the days till this becomes a reality.

Following the huge success of Django Unchained, Quentin co-wrote a comic book series set a few years after the events that took place in the film.

In the sequel series, Django crosses paths with Diego de le Vega – also known as Zorro – and the two legends work together to free slaves and take down bad guys.

Luckily for us, Quentin is ready to make this movie happen and he’s got screenwriter Jerrod Carmichael to get started on a screenplay, according to Collider.

Jerrod has starred in films such as Neighbors and Transformers: The Last Night, while he’s written for shows like Laugh Factory and his series, The Carmichael Show.

The only problem with this news is the fact Quentin did claim he was going to retire after the release of his tenth feature film.

So there’s a chance he might not be the person behind the camera should this film get the green light.

His upcoming release Once Upon A Time In Hollywood will be his ninth feature film so time will tell if he chooses to end his career with a sequel flick.
