DONALD Trump has arrived in Portsmouth to lead an international delegation of world leaders to pay tribute to D-Day war heroes – 75 years on.
The US President stepped off Marine One this morning with wife Melania ahead of a huge day of remembrance.
The US President gave a salute as he arrived.
He will attend a special ceremony with the Queen, Prime Minister Theresa May, and world leaders from across Europe.
300 veterans are also set to mark the anniversary, alongside 60,000 members of the public.
And similar events will also take place in France today and tomorrow.
The Queen was also pictured arriving for the ceremony this morning in her car.
Crowds are already gathering in Portsmouth to pay their tributes to the fallen heroes who fought for our freedom.
They will remember the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings – where hundreds of thousands of allies landed on the beaches in France to fight back against the Nazis in World War II.
The go-ahead for the invasion was officially given on 5 June 1944, and troops made their way over on 6 June.
The operation was a huge turning point in the war, but thousands were killed.
