Last week, Queen and Adam Lambert completed the US leg of their Rhapsody tour. And now Brian May is back home chilling out. He wrote on Instagram: “I’m back home now, doing a lot of sleeping, and that fabulous USA tour seems like a dream. So I’ll probably be a bit quiet for a while. Thanks, folks, for following our adventures with me. It was quite a trip.”
However, that’s not all he said, teasing there’s some big news arriving later today.
May added: “Big announcement coming later today !!! Bri.”
Well, just what could it be?
One of the most liked fan comments was: “IS THAT BIG ANNOUNCEMENT EUROPE TOUR??”
It’s certainly possible considering that Queen and Adam Lambert’s Rhapsody tour only heads to Asia and Oceania in their second and third legs between January and February.
Let’s also not forget that 2020 is the 50th anniversary of Queen, so surely there must be some big summer and autumn shows in the works?
Hopefully, it’s not too long before Queen fans find out.
After completing the final US show of the tour, May lamented how much he would miss it.
The 72-year-old posted on Instagram: “It’s the last show. It’s very strange y’ know.”
“Cause you’re kinda yearning for home for two months and then when this moment comes it’s strange because y’ know you’re gonna miss all of this really badly. And here it is for the last time!”
May then turned his phone around to show the vast auditorium as what sounded like Adam Lambert giving his soundcheck could be heard in the background.
May added: “In Charlotte, North Carolina. We’ll soon be set. Just the one more.”
