Queen and Adam Lambert tour: Brian May laments last show ‘Gonna MISS it really badly’

After 25 shows across the US and Canada, Queen and Adam Lambert’s Rhapsody Tour has completed its first leg. The iconic team-up performed their last show at the Spectrum Centre in Charlotte, North Carolina last night. And as they were setting up beforehand, guitarist Brian May shared an Instagram video, revealing he was going to miss it “really badly.” During what looks like the soundcheck, the 72-year-old said: “It’s the last show. It’s very strange y’ know.”

May continued: “Cause you’re kinda yearning for home for two months and then when this moment comes it’s strange because y’ know you’re gonna miss all of this really badly.

“And here it is for the last time!”

May then turned his phone around to show the vast auditorium as what sounded like Adam Lambert giving his soundcheck could be heard in the background.

May added: “In Charlotte, North Carolina. We’ll soon be set. Just the one more.”
