Queen and Adam Lambert: ‘INSANE! Things have taken a turn I NEVER expected’ says Brian May

This evening Queen and Adam Lambert perform the penultimate show on the Oceania leg of their Rhapsody world tour. Guitarist Brian May has been chronicling the band’s journey on his Instagram. And now he’s admitted the trio are facing quite the challenge at the Adelaide Oval cricket ground.

After tonight, Queen and Adam Lambert have just one more show to go before their Easter break.

The final concert takes place at Gold Coast’s Metricon Stadium on February 29.

Brian May, Roger Taylor and Adam Lambert will then take a two-month break before kicking off the UK and Europe leg of their Rhapsody tour.

The trio hit the UK in June with 10 dates at London’s O2, two at Manchester Arena and a couple at Arena Birmingham.

Aside from performing Queen’s greatest hits from Bohemian Rhapsody to We Will Rock You, the trio have occasionally surprised audiences with a famous cover.

While in Dunedin, New Zealand earlier this month, the band performed Led Zeppelin’s Whole Lotta Love.

The band then followed up that cover up with Elvis Presley’s Heartbreak Hotel at the second night at Melbourne’s AAMI Park.

Who knows what classic track they will surprise fans with next.
