Queen and Adam Lambert charity gig: Here’s how YOU can get FREE tickets

Queen and Adam Lambert completed the North America leg of their Rhapsody Tour last month. And the collaboration won’t be continuing until early 2020, but they do have a charity gig coming up this month with free tickets. Announced in July, Queen and Adam Lambert are headlining the Global Citizen Festival in New York’s Central Park on September 28. The group will perform after the likes of Pharrell Williams, Alicia Key and OneRepublic.

In a new Instagram post from Queen, the text reads: “You can see Queen + @adamlambert live in NYC & help our Oceans!

“Join us & @glblctzn in calling on world leaders to take a stand for our oceans & #beatplasticpollution.

“Download the app to take action & earn tickets to see us play live at the #GlobalCitizen Festival on Sept. 28th in NYC.”

Adam Lambert, Brian May and Roger Taylor also featured in a new video, promoting the event.

They said: “Protecting the earth’s food, water, and air can help protect the people who live on it and lift them out of extreme poverty.

“Take the ocean, one of the most precious things on earth, but it’s under assault from pollution that harms millions of the world’s poorest people, many who depend on the ocean for income.”

They continued: “PROBLUE can help in the poorest countries where the oceans and marine life are dying.

“That’s why we’re joining Global Citizen to support the PROBLUE fund, which tackles marine pollution, manages fisheries, and helps coastal economies grow.

“Our actions and your actions can make a difference.

“You could win tickets to see us perform at the Global Citizen Festival on September the 28th on the Great Lawn of Central Park.”

“Join us and go to globalcitizen.org/oceans, take action today.”
